Dr Srinivas Patnala has a cumulative experience of 25 years in pharmaceutical industry and academia. He started his career in 1991 – worked in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA) and related R&D departments. Dr Patnala’s expertise is pharmaceutical analysis – focusing on analytical method development for dosage forms/APIs and phytomedicines/nutraceuticals. In 2010, he joined KLE University as – Professor of Pharmaceutical Analysis and initiated Basic Sciences Research Centre for excellence in academic research. Dr Patnala is associated with the World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva – as an ad-hoc expert for reviewing analytical monographs of International Pharmacopeia and pharmaceutical pre-qualification programs. As a part of research mentoring and lab skills development, he is associated with Pharmabridge (FIP, Geneva, Switzerland) to assist scientists and academics from developing countries. Dr Patnala has published research articles in various peer-reviewed journals and co-authored book chapters. He is currently engaged with consultancy for QC systems, research design/training, contract research services for phytochemicals and mentoring post-graduate students on relevant research projects.
